Hello, I am Pastor Mike Galica (pronounced, Ga-lee-sha, like “Alisha” with a hard “G” on the front), and welcome to my website. I am a pastor serving a northern Vermont congregation in the United Church of Christ. I think a lot about how best to live a Christian life in a Post-Christian world—something I explored in my doctoral work, listening to the spiritual stories for apatheists (people for whom questions about God are not relevant to their everyday) and reflecting on what their stories mean for the Church today. The short version? Christians are called to live as a welcoming community who bear witness to the perfect new creation God has promised for the future in our present.
